Reportedly, the breakup was mutual and the pair plan to remain friends, although they both felt the need for separation at this point in the relationship. However, the breakup led to Portman moving into her childhood home.
At first, Portman enjoyed it, but now she is finding that there are some aspects of living there that she describes as “rough” and difficult. “It was cool in the beginning because I get good meals and my laundry done but it turns into trouble,” Portman revealed about living at home with her parents again.
It was recently revealed Natalie and boyfriend Devendra Banhart are no longer dating. A source close to the folk singer said, "Natalie and Devendra have broken up. They will remain friends but need some space and time away."

In April, Natalie, 27, and the bearded musician, who is also 27, were photographed kissing and holding hands as they strolled through the West Village wearing matching black coats and sunglasses.

Portman, 27, replaces singer-actress Jennifer Lopez who was out of the project. Portman is best known for her role as Padme Amidala in "Star Wars" films. In this movie, Portman will portray a woman who discovers that the way to save her marriage is through her relationship with her 10 year-old stepson.

The movie co-stars Scott Cohen and Charlie Tahan and the process of filming is to begin in Manhattan on November 10.

Actress Natalie Portman is scheduled to speak tomorrow morning at an Obama rally at Lourdes College in suburban Sylvania.

"Eve" was the opening film of the Corto Cortissimo short-film sidebar, which packed the house in the Lido's 500-seat Sala Perla. Most stayed on for the other six films that made up the afternoon's short-film slate.
Portman's presence also added some star power to what has so far been a low wattage festival by Venice standards.
Good luck for your directorial film debut.

The generous Natalie Portman is reportedly donating the prize, $50,000 dollars and a trophy, to the program.

Banhart.
The ex-New York resident actress met Devendra on the set of his music video in

Natalie Portman is good at politics? Let's see her opinion about the
next-President of the US.
The first, is for Hillary Clinton:
"A lot of the stuff people say about her, I hear it and my stomach falls
because it's so sexist. You ask people why they don't like her and it's because
her husband cheated on her! That was obviously not her choice. She's so much
more polished and experienced than anyone else. Last night, a friend, a social
worker in L.A. who works with underprivileged kids, was saying how these girls
who have never been interested in politics before are so excited that a woman
might be president. I mean, look how many women are in government…Hillary's one
of, what, [a handful of] female senators?"
She also share her words about the other candidates:
"I also like Obama. I even like McCain. I disagree with his war stance—which
is a really big deal—but I think he's a very moral person. I met him and Hillary
on the same day, actually, when I went to Washington with Finca [a nonprofit
that gives loans to businesswomen in developing countries]." (This
girl is looking for something positive in the blackballs.)
In the end, as a woman, she picks Hillary Clinton as her heroine.
"Hillary was by far the smartest person I
met that day. Just totally focused, and knew more about the issues than anyone
else, and was so able to go from one thing to the other."

This is an example that Hollywood is a fake !
Natalie Portman gives you explanation that Hollywood is placed on another
dimension of this world. The Israeli-American beauty almost killed by a horse during a
vacation in Kenya because she believed that she is an equestial expert after
riding well-trained animals on the set of new movie 'The Other Boleyn Girl.'
She shares her NDE (Near Death Experience), "I sort of realised that the horses
were really well trained because I was really galloping and got really good.
Then we finished the movie and I went on vacation to Kenya with my family and we
got on horses and they asked me, 'Can you ride?' I was like, 'Oh, yeah.' They
asked, 'What can you do?' 'Oh, I gallop, I can do anything, really.' I got on
and immediately was tossed off the horse. Usually, they make you feel better.
'That happens,' or 'That horse is kind of wild,' but they were like, 'That has
never happened before.'"
Welcome back to the real world, girl. Not all the horses are the same.

Natalie Portman praised her rival, Scarlett
Johansson, who compete for some attentions of King Henry VIII in the Other
Boleyn Girl.
The Pirates of the Caribbean told Hollywood Today, “It was really one of my
best, if not my best, acting experience opposite someone my age. [It] was so
exciting to get to see someone I admired up close."
The actress also convinced that their contention in the movie won't be brought
into the real world.
She said, " In terms of working with each other, Scarlett was like a total dream
partner to work with. It felt like we were on the same team, and yet there was
the fact that she was always so present and so focused and so real, like I could
just believe everything and stay in the scene and feel supported.”

Natalie Portman confessed that she has a close relationship with Britney
Spears.
The Other Boleyn Girl star felt sorry to read gossips about the panty-hater,
said, "We both had the same first job. We both understudied for an off-Broadway
musical called Ruthless. I never met her, but I took over from her when she left
to join the Mickey Mouse Club. So we connected over that. She invited me to a
few things and my guy friends at college said, ‘We have to go.’ I’m sad to see
how everyone’s treating her now.
“Any time I see something about Britney, I close it. I can’t look at it. I’m
usually interested in gossip, but this makes my stomach hurt.”
Get used to it, girl. Double or triple dosage of Britney's gossips and your
stomach will be okay.
